David E. Stone has for many years produced limited and unlimited edition trading card sized works.  For over a hundred years, trading cards have been produced for the purpose of collecting and trading featuring athletes and other entertainment images.  Stone has been fascinated by trading cards due to their convenient size (2 1/2" x 3 1/2"), their understandable purpose of being collected and their accessibility (inexpensive).

To continue this practice, Stone issued several trading cards from the one year in LA project.  They were always issued as unlimited editions, although on occasion there were separate limited edition cards also available for sale.

The card being issued for the Suggestive Persuasion exhibition of projected images in 43 Los Angeles movie theaters is "Persuasive Suggestion" (shown below).  This lenticular card replicates the images seen in the theaters.  Move your mouse over the image below to see it "flip".

The April exhibition, "Economic Value" had 36 different trading cards issued all featuring appropriated images of the signature of Joseph Beuys from sales of his work on eBay.  They were for sale in a vending machine during the exhibition.
